Over all I enjoyed this book. The book started off slow and not that interesting, as the story got further in it got better and better. This book gives you what it could be like for someone moving into foster care. It gives you all the thoughts the person could be thinking, and the feelings they might be having. I did like this book, however, there were a couple things I didn't enjoy. One of the things I didn't like was how short the chapters were. You moved from chapter to chapter so fast, you ended up forgetting everything you just read. One other thing I didn't necessarily enjoy was how it was difficult to figure out who was talking in most of the story. It shifted from perspective points and character thoughts so frequently you didn't have enough time to figure out who was thinking those thoughts, or saying those things. Even though there were a couple things I would change, I definitely would recommend this book to someone. If gives you the first hand thoughts of someone in very much real life situations. It also shows you that people come from different places can still do good in the world.
